DR. RASHAD MANSOUR

Chiropractor

Dr. Rashad Mansour is a California native who was raised in Fountain Valley.  Growing up in Southern California, Dr. Mansour enjoyed many outdoor activities like hiking, biking, and swimming. Dr. Mansour was raised by two wonderful parents that stressed the importance of ambition, dedication, and never giving up on your dreams. The son of a Civil/Railroad Engineer who also was a semi professional soccer player; Dr. Mansour naturally participated and excelled in numerous organized sports, including basketball, football, water polo, and soccer, where he was the captain of his club team for many years.  Dr. Mansour has given back to the community that shaped him into the athlete he is today, by volunteering his time as a head coach and referee in both basketball and soccer at Fountain Valley High School, AYSO, and the Boys and Girls Club.

While in college, Dr. Mansour began to develop occasional migraine headaches that would debilitate him for days at a time. He spent time in many doctor’s offices without any diagnosis or explanation of what the best treatment would be. Four years and a list of prescription medications later, there was no relief in sight. This resulted in Dr. Mansour beginning to look to other forms of health care as a final resort. Luckily, he was introduced to the art and science of chiropractic.  After only 6 sessions of adjustments and myofascial work, Dr. Mansour’s headaches were completely gone. This inspired Dr. Mansour, and he was convinced that he had found his calling.  It was official, Dr. Mansour wanted to make a difference in people’s lives, the same way Chiropractic treatment did for him.

Career

Dr. Mansour always felt as if there was something missing in the way western medicine dealt with chronic illnesses and diseases. He was sure that prescription medication, while it does have its place in the health paradigm, does not completely address the root issues in quality healthcare. It can sometimes mask and even cover the symptoms of patients instead.  Therefore Dr. Mansour now takes full responsibility in understanding that prevention with regards to disease and dysfunction is the most important aspect of living a healthy life.  Dr. Mansour has taken his vast knowledge of the human body and transformed that into a way to live an active and healthy lifestyle with nutrition and healthy eating habits at the core.
